After developing and repairing, our school tables have become computer tables,
We are now able to save more space and one table can even place two computers.
Our school received a project proposal from the governor of Banlung City. The proposal, is to help and train their staffs on computer training. 26 staffs are attending our first step training class which is focusing on:
Khmer Unicode Typing
- Use Khmer Spellcheck – Khmer Spellchek Dictionary
- LibreOffice Writer 3.4.4 vs Microsoft Office Word 2010
- LibreOffice Calc 3.4.4 vs Microsoft Office Excel 2010
The course start from Monday to Friday 10:10 AM- 12:00.
All trainees are interested very much in Khmer Unicode, as they can type faster than Limon true type font.The most interesting function in this training course is Khmer Auto Spell Check while they are typing in LibreOffice and OpenOffice.org because this function is able to reduce error type in their daily documents.
A trainee asked Mr. Sovann – Computer Trainer, “I am too old, Can I learn computer?”, Mr. Sovann told her that “Never too old to learn”.
Trainning Project Background:
Our school project manager Mr. Sovann met Mr. Ly Vin – Banlung city governor at a restaurant in Banlung, Mr. Sovann told the governor that he is working in a computer and English project in Vogel School, Mr. Ly Vin are interested in human resource training very much.
Finally, our School officially got a proposal letter from Banlung City Hall to help and train all their staffs.
