The water festival is one of the national ceremonies, which is held every year for three days in the middle of November. It is usually celebrated on the bank s of Tonle Sap in front of the Royal Palace.
This year I and my family are planning to visit the water festival for three days. We are going to set off a day before the festival starts because we want to have more time to relax in my uncle's flat near Phsar Thmel market so that we will be able to do some shopping there. We are going to travel by taxi to Phnom Penh, and I hope that it will not be very expensive and the journey will be very safe. We are making some Cambodian traditional cakes like: Num Ansams and Num kom for our relatives in Phmom Penh. I am sure the water will be very cold., so we are going to take some warm clothes to wear when we go for a walk at night.
I hope we will have a good time and interesting things to do during the water festival.
