Mr. Richard Dyck, the school donor, named the school after his supervisor professor, Mr. Ezra Vogel.
When Mr.Dyck, first visited Ratanakiri in 2003, he quickly fell in love with its wilderness and natural beauty and feels the need to help promote the living standard of the people here.
Through the recommendation of his friend who is the supporter of various charity projects of school and hospital buildings in Cambodia, Mr. Dyck and his family donate the school.
Besides the public school curriculum, the school provides enriched extra curriculum classes such as Khmer language education, English and Computer education to the students.
