Shaking hands, however, is an international greeting. People do it when they meet and when they say goodbye.
In many European countries, friends kiss each other on the cheek instead of shaking hands. Men kiss men in Russia. In English speaking courtier, women kiss, women and men's friends, but in most other counties, women do not usually greet men with a kiss.
In Cambodia, people usually use the traditional “Sampeah” to greet each other. When they meet friends, they put their hands together and say “Chumreapsuor”, but these days some people shake hands.
