A classical education often emphasizes the importance of history and literature. There is no doubt that these are important subjects for all students to study; however, I do not believe that they are any more important than science and mathematics are today. Ideally, a student wuld receive a wll-rounded education in which all of these subjects play an important part. Therefore, I cannot agree mth the statement that literature and history are more important than science and mathematics.

In fact, it can be argued that science and mathematics are becoming increasingly important. In today’s society, technological advances occur rapidly and are usually the result of developments in the fields of science and mathematics. If they do not study these tw subjects, students will not be able to contribute to the further development of technology. Furthermore, technological advances affect everyone’s life. Without a basic understanding of math and science, it is difficult for peole to take full advantage of new products and tools. So no matter what one’s field, it is important to study these tw subjects.

In my opinion, all subjects can contribute to a good education. No matter what one’s interests or future career, it is best to gain some basic knowledge in as - many areas as possible. And finally, given the rapid pace of technological advances in our society, the study of science and mathematics is essential.
