In recent years the way that we learn has been greatly affected by modern technology. For example, it is now possible to get a wider range of information more quickly by using computers. It is possible that in the future students will not have to attend school at all. They will be able to study at home using computers or televisions. Many students may prefer this, but I would still prefer to attend classes in a traditional school.

One important reason for my preference is that e learn more in school than just our academic subjects. We also learn how to work with other people, and this is one skill that I think is very difficult to develop by means of a computer course. Another reason is that I enjoy the social environment of the school. I have made many good friends at my school and do not think these relationships could be replaced by faceless communication via a computer. Finally, going to school forces me to be more disciplined than studying at home. I fear that if I have to control my own time at home, I may study inefficiently.

For all of the above reasons, I prefer attending traditional school classes to taking courses through the computer at home. Therefore, although I appreciate all the benefits that modern technology brings to students, I would use it to assist me in my studies rather than depend on it for my entire education.
