On Tuesday, March 22, 2011 the Ezra Vogel Special Skills School had a meeting with all the schoolchildren' parents which led by the school principle and powered by VSO Organization. The school principle presented about the school achievement in the previous year and the developed planning this year and next year.

The school principle, he offered all the parents to push and motivate their children to be schooling together and he also told and explained about the valuable and important knowledge. According to the recommendation of the school Principal, all the parents they could understand clearly and they also promised to to encourage their children to go to school regularly.

Meanwhile Mrs. Luzy B. Narag the volunteer staff from VSO Organization also presented about her interest and gave many good ideas to all parents about the way how to encourage and motivate the children to be schooling.

During the meeting, the school principle also suggested all parents to discuss by sharing each other comments base on the 3 questions bellow:

1. How do parents and community do to improve the school?
2. How do parents do to encourage their children to go to school?
3. Do all parents have any sugestions to the teachers?

All the comments about the 3 questions appeared on the paper and hanged on the board. Once of the parents in each groups, he/she need to be in the front and showed about what their group opinion are.

 The meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 was very useful for the Vogel School and parents' community because we could share each other idea and discovered the key to improve the children learning.

Since Friday, March 04, 2011 we have opened the training about joomla to the students in grade 5 & 6. This training is led and taught by Mr. Sovann Heng. As a result now the students, they could intall Joomla in each and now they are in the process of learning more about some components of Joomla. The training is started every Friday.

The training last day was about:

1.  The definition of making website by decorated the content.
2. Get to know about Joomla version with (Alpha  Beta  RC and Stable)
3. Joomla installation
4. Get to understand about Joomla Editor of (Editor - JCE & Editor - TiniMCE)
5. How to find and check the module position by using (?tp=1)

The electricity supplying in Ratanakiri is not sustainable in these few months. This situation occurred very often, sometimes half day or the whole day. So we decided to take the Honda Generator from Rainbow Primary School to Vogel Primary School.

On Thurday, March 03, 2011 we brought the electric wire to connect from the Generator House to the School Building. Ratanak Neang (the volunteery staff), he is really strong and responsible to connect this wire.

After connected the wire, we also test the Generator, as a result it could not run so we invited the mechanic in Banlung Town to repair it.

The Honda Generator could run properly after has repaired.

On February 04, 2011 the Ezra Vogel Special Skills School received the new camera (Canon Power Shot Sx130 IS+Battery) from people in Japan. This camera is a gift from the donors who watched our movies for the festival in Miraizau School. The students are really please to see and use the camera, they said 'they love this camera so much'
