Jesus Christ was born in December 25, so one ceremony was celebrated to remind his birth every year , called Christmas day. During this day, the teachers and the students at The Ezra Vogel school also participated to join themselves in this celebration every year.

    

 

We wish you a merry Christmas, a happy new year and other song was sung by the students of Vogel school to bless to the people in the whole world.

   

The Ezra Vogel Special Skills school is one school in Ratanakiri province that teaches the students the skills. We have taught the students some skills such as, lightly electronic repairing or producing, English, computer, painting etc. Picture is a subject which the students enjoy very much. We let the student to paint both on the computer and paper for yearly competition.

   

 

 

Friendship are very important for all the people to live together happily. This is acted out to each other in many ways to show their love, but on Christmas day, they always change or give gift to someone they love or their best friends.

      

In this chance, we gave the gift to the students who help us teaching the kids, and these are the gifts from Mr. Chan Kong, English teacher, such as mini dictionaries, books, pens and rulers.

   

The popular game we played in this time such as:

1- Breaking the balloon by their buttock 

There are five or above of couples to play this game. They ties the balloon on the string and let each couple use their buttock to break the balloon between theirs. If any couple could break it first then they would win the game.

   

2- Pumping the water to fill in a bottle

Filling in the bottle, it is usually played during the ceremonies held, especially during Khmer New year. Now we please picked up this game to introduce the people to know and for pleasure too. The tools for this game like bottles and tanks of water. They put, the bottles and the tanks of water on the table or any can held them, far from each other about ten meters. First the competitors need to pump the water into their mouth then run forward to fill in the bottle. If someone could fill the fastest then he would win the game.

      

3- Breaking the mud jar
How to play this game, first a scarf was covered on the participant’s face. She needed to walk toward three steps to the jar above her after her body rounded three times by someone. In the jar they could put in perfume powder, candy or anything else that might make the children happy. If she could break that jar successfully, she would get the prize.

   

  

4- The slowest bicycle racing
This is one kind of games which they play to show their skill. The winner was a competitor who could control their bike the slowest, and his feed not touching on the ground or felt down.

    

These are the winners in each game playing, from number 1 to 3. They got gift from the committees.

  

The snack and drinks was prepared for participants after the games finished. They all joined themselves happily.

   

God teaches his followers to act in a good way, He also likes happiness. Every weekend he let the people sing, dance and learn Bible after they free from the work because this make us a long life too.
